In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 21, 2021, No. PP-5083, in August 2021, "Uzbek geological exploration" JSC was established to service geological exploration.

The main tasks of the JSC:

- implementation of measures to modernize the field of geology through the introduction of modern and highly efficient equipment, advanced equipment and innovative technologies into this area;

- carrying out systematic work aimed at reducing the cost of services by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of geological exploration and optimizing costs;

- increasing the operational efficiency of activities through the introduction of a modern system of corporate governance, rational use of material, technical, financial and labor resources;

- ensuring the competitiveness of the work carried out in the industry through the use of modern digital technologies, as well as carrying out exploration work not only in the republic, but also in foreign countries as the winner of international tenders;

- ensuring the development of the mineral resource base of the republic through the accelerated implementation of exploration work in the regions.
